EVACUATION AND SUPPORT FOR ORPHANAGES FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE RUSSIAN – UKRAINIAN WAR
Olasubomi's response to the Russian-Ukrainian war exemplifies her unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts in times of crisis. As the conflict escalated, she took immediate action to support those affected, particularly focusing on refugees and vulnerable populations. Her dedication to this cause led her to travel to war-torn Ukraine, where she provided critical assistance to those in need.
INTERVENTION TOUR TO SUPPORT REFUGEES OF COLOUR IN POLAND, SLOVAKIA, HUNGARY, GERMANY & ROMANIA
Olasubomi embarked on solidarity tours to Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany and Romania to support refugees of colour fleeing the Ukraine war. She secured University scholarships for the refugees within Europe, successfully raising funds and engaging in advocacy work to retrieve their seized travel documents.

Olasubomi's work to promote United Nations objectives has been instrumental in shaping global agendas and advocating for the rights of marginalized communities. When the UN was about to commence the planning of the 2024 UN Civil Society Conference in Nairobi, Kenya - the first in Africa. Olasubomi Iginla Aina was one of the 8 Globally Appointed Civil Society leaders identified as the The United Nations NGO Taskforce Committee for the planning of the 2024 UN Civil Society Nairobi Conference.
